Maize Grains

Maize cropping is one of the oldest practices in the world. It stands out for its versatile use, ranging from animal feed to the high-tech industry. And there is also the social aspect, maize grains are one of the most important products in the agricultural sector in Brazil, especially in family farming. It is an ingredient in the manufacturing of candies, cookies, bread, chocolate, jams, beer, etc.

Sementec's maize grains meet high quality standards. They go through pre-cleaning – through sieves –, drying (if necessary) and are processed at our GPU until they are stored in the silos. And that is not all. We also purge the maize, which eliminates weevils, insects that attack the grain in the field and often end up being taken to the storage place.
