Soybean Grains

Do you know what soybean is used for these days? This small golden grain is the raw material for several items that are part of our daily lives. It is used in human nutrition, animal nutrition (cattle, swine and poultry), in the manufacturing of cosmetics and even biodiesel. And that is not all. Soybean can be found in inks, coatings, plastics, lubricants. According to Embrapa Soja, Brazil and the United States have taken turns as the world's largest producer of the grain in recent years. 

Sementec's soybeans are of excellent quality. At our Grain Processing Unit (GPU), they go through the last stages of processing, which starts with pre-cleaning and ends with packaging, and then they are sent for distribution or are put into storage. Our static storage capacity is of over 30 thousand tonnes of grain.
